General Nonwovens has started up its advanced technical textiles production line, marking an important step in the company’s ongoing portfolio diversification strategy. The new multi-layer composite production line has been developed by General Nonwovens’ in-house project team to serve a wide range of technical textile applications, with an initial focus on filtration, industrial, household care and engineered nonwoven solutions.
Meanwhile, the nonwovens industry has officially crowned its new winners. At the opening of INDEX 2026, Lenzing, Corman, Confitex, Bostik and Zuiko were honored with the INDEX Awards, the industry’s highest accolade for technical excellence and forward-thinking design.
